Weddings at The Night Yard
A countryside courtyard celebration
This venue is unique; it’s not a bar, it’s not a field, it is The Night Yard! It is a cloistered barn around a huge grass courtyard, which is sited in a tranquil part of the farm surrounded by apple trees and a wildflower meadow. The farm, which has been in the family since 1928, no longer houses a dairy herd but forms the perfect backdrop for a countryside wedding, while still being just moments off the A2.
The venue was sympathetically refurbished in 2014; keeping some of the quintessential features such as the old hay feeders, wooden barn doors and Kent peg tiled roof. The venue’s vintage red tractor, ‘Bertie’, is still in residence providing one of the many great photo opportunities.
