A woodland wedding venue in a hidden Kentish water meadow, with open skies, far-reaching views and beautiful sunsets.
Wilderness was created from a dream of an enchanting, natural wedding venue, inspired by the meadow, woodlands and sunsets that surround it. It offers a setting for a festival-style wedding.
Marry overlooking the lake
The Woodsman’s Cabin is licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships and accommodates up to 120 guests. It can be enclosed for shelter or opened to take in the views across the Wilderness.
Marry under the Boat-Zebo
Outdoor civil ceremonies take place beneath an upturned vintage wooden boat with a canopy, on the banks of Deerson Lake.
Marry in the woodland
St Mildred’s Woodland offers a setting for a humanist ceremony conducted by celebrant Karina O’Donnell, with beautiful sunsets across the woods.

Accommodation
On-site glamping in bell tents includes chandeliers, hardwearing flooring and raised wooden beds, with cotton bed linen, duck-down pillows, hot-water bottles, throws, sheepskin and Persian rugs.
Nearby hotel options include Canterbury, Whitstable, Margate, Ramsgate, Sandwich and Deal.
