Paul
Paul is passionate about locally sourced Kentish produce and enjoys finding new suppliers and new ingredients to work with. Paul has been fortunate enough to cook for Gary Rhodes and Raymond Blanc throughout his career and thrives under pressure.

Paul joined Scott Anderson in 2013 in the position of Sous Chef, then successfully attained the position of Head Chef in 2015 and then quickly progressed to Executive Chef in 2020 through his drive, commitment and his desire for success. Paul trained at ‘The National Sea Training College’ in Gravesend, whilst working part time in a rosette kitchen to gain invaluable kitchen experience, in Sevenoaks in Kent where he was awarded NVQs level 1 and 2.
After college Paul progressed his career by working throughout Kent and Surrey in restaurants and hotels, with 2 AA rosettes and Michelin listed brassieres before working overseas in Bermuda, where he gained valuable knowledge of international cuisine. Paul has also worked for De Vere and Village Hotels where he held the position of Head Chef for 6 years, before coming to work for Scott Anderson.

Gavin
After completing an apprenticeship, Gavin progressed to sous chef within a 2 AA rosette hotel in Kent where he worked on refining his skills and food knowledge. This led to being offered the position of sous chef at Wheelers Oyster Bar in Whitstable, which he maintained for 17 years.
Gavin joined Scott Anderson in September 2017 having spent 21 years enhancing his cooking skills and knowledge in the industry. He worked his way up to Senior Sous Chef and in 2021 due to his drive, commitment and passion for food and service.
Gavin has a wealth of knowledge in the catering world and his approach to food is straightforward, utilise the best high-quality produce available and where possible keep it seasonal. He loves nothing more than developing new menus and working closely with clients to fulfil their brief and delivering something extra special on their day.

Since leaving college Gavin has cooked in various establishments, from public houses, AA rosette hotels, golf clubs, private hospitals, colleges and restaurants. His passion in serving freshly prepared menus to all has continued since joining Andersons Caterers in 2017.

Brown
Gavin started his catering career when studying a professional chef’s course at Canterbury College in 1997. During his time there Gavin was asked to relocate to Spain where he catered for geology trips. During college he won the coveted Blue Apron 3rd Year Award for outstanding achievement and hard work.
Since leaving college Gavin has cooked in various establishments, from public houses, AA rosette hotels, golf clubs, private hospitals, colleges and restaurants. His passion in serving freshly prepared menus to all has continued since joining Andersons Caterers in 2017.
Gavin thoroughly enjoys being part of the kitchen team and his role as Senior Sous Chef means he always ensures that the dishes he serves are memorable ones. Whether this is at a tasting experience, a venue open day or on event days Gavin thinks food is one of the most important factors in making an event memorable.
In his downtime he enjoys spending time with his children, playing football and visiting up and coming restaurants to gain inspiration.
Amy
Achwal-Donnelly
Amy’s career in hospitality begun at a young age, waitressing for a 4-star hotel in the South of England during her A-Levels and progressing to setting up events and managing staff at Goodwood Racecourse during her time at university.
Following on from an undergraduate degree in English Literature from Swansea University, in 2013 Amy gained an MSc in International Events Management from Surrey University. Since graduating she has had the opportunity to explore the vast scope of the event industry and gain valuable experience in planning a multitude of diverse events, from overseas technology exhibitions to organising graduation events in her hometown of Canterbury.
Amy feels incredibly lucky to have found her real love of events in organising weddings and she is delighted to be part of the team at Scott Anderson as Senior Event and Business Manager. Her passion lies in creating lasting memories and she is committed to doing everything she can to make a couples’ perfect day even more special.
Amy loves being a part of her clients’ journeys, from the point of meeting them at their tasting to being present at their big day, ensuring our delicious food and faultless service meets their expectations. She will go above and beyond to ensure the day runs smoothly and that there are always smiles on her couples’ and their guests’ faces.

Bryony enjoys working with clients right from the beginning to plan events and weddings and being there on the day to make sure everything is perfect. She brings enthusiasm and passion to every event and is always ready to go the extra mile to make your day as unique as it should be. The care and generous customer service you will experience from Bryony is second to none.

Originally from Somerset, Bryony started working in hospitality whist studying for a History degree in Canterbury.
Bryony has a real passion for working with local, seasonal produce which was realised whilst working as deputy manager for ‘The Goods Shed in Canterbury’
After graduating this experience continued whilst travelling throughout Australia and New Zealand with one of her favourite roles working in the prestigious Western Australian Club in Perth. Upon returning Bryony took up employment at a local golf club organising and expanding their event business until she felt it time to take the next step and joined the Scott Anderson team as Event Manager and was then promoted to Senior Event & Operations Manager.
Bryony enjoys working with clients right from the beginning to plan events and weddings and being there on the day to make sure everything is perfect. She brings enthusiasm and passion to every event and is always ready to go the extra mile to make your day as unique as it should be. The care and generous customer service you will experience from Bryony is second to none.
Chloe
Earl
Chloe joined our front of house team as a waitress in 2016 whilst studying her A-levels. She quickly moved into a Wedding & Events Coordinator position working closely with Caroline and Abby daily assisting in the planning process and assigning our large team of waiting and bar staff to our many wonderful events; before taking over the staffing of all our weddings and events in 2020. In 2023, Chloe was promoted as our Event & Marketing manager, she loves to interact with clients through our social media platforms as well as manage so many beautiful wedding days. Chloe feels fortunate to be part of such a strong talented team at Scott Anderson and has a great relationship with everyone she works with.
Chloe has a very confident and bubbly personality and loves being in the events industry, especially weddings. She has worked at all our venues as well as our outside venues such as marquees and barns in Kent, Surrey and Sussex. Chloe really enjoys interacting with our couples and their guests and will go above and beyond to ensure their day runs smoothly. She believes that the food and drink is one of the most important aspects of an event, and is passionate in ensuring everyone’s needs are met throughout the day.
Outside of work, Chloe loves to travel and experience different cultures with her family and friends; especially in the sunshine!

Rachel’s career in hospitality begun during work experience waitressing at a hotel in her hometown, which then led to full time employment.
She later went on to pursue an undergraduate degree in International Hospitality Management at Bournemouth University – where she was able to build on her knowledge of the hospitality industry, working in various establishments. Her hospitality degree led her to a once in a lifetime opportunity of working abroad at a 5-star luxury resort in the Maldives.
Later due to Covid restrictions, Rachel moved back to Kent and became a bar supervisor at a 4-star hotel in Canterbury. Rachel worked her way up to the role of the hotel’s food and beverage supervisor where she found her love for events and wedding planning. In 2023, Rachel felt that it was time to take her career further and joined the Andersons Catering team as an Event Manager.
Rachel feels that she is incredibly lucky to have now found her real love of events with organising weddings and is delighted to be part of the team at Andersons Caterers as an Event Manager. Rachel finds it such a privilege to build close relationships with our clients. From the point of meeting them at their menu tasting to being present on their big day, Rachel is committed to doing everything she can to make each of our couple’s wedding days extra special always with delicious food and a faultless service.
In her spare time, Rachel loves to spend time with family and on long dog walks!
Nicola
Manton
Nicola joined our team in May 2024 just before the start of the summer wedding season and has enjoyed the fast paced nature of our business. Nicola has worked in hospitality since she took on a waiting job alongside her university studies in 2003. When she left university, she was offered an Assistant Manager role with a well-known business chain and knew this was the industry for her.
The management roles she has undertaken during her career have seen her work for prestigious bars and restaurants all within a range of businesses which have allowed her to understand the industry from the ground up. For 7 years Nicola worked with a local, independent caterer and has helped plan and run many weddings and events during this time, ranging from intimate private dining for 10 to marquees on the beach for 150 people. Nicola fully understands the planning, attention to detail and execution needed for any wedding or event.
Nicola thrives on the varied nature of the business and being part of our client’s special day, ensuring they have the day of their dreams is what keeps her motivated.
In her downtime she enjoys running, walking with her family dog and DIY.

Joanna
After three successful years in Egypt Joanna decided to return to England and joined Andersons Caterers in 2010 as an Event Manager where she really enjoyed her time ensuring all our clients had the day they dreamed of.

Joanna has gained numerous qualifications throughout her career, for example an HNC in Business Studies and a Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management to name a few. These qualifications have helped Joanna understand her true passion in Wedding and Event Management.
Joanna has been fortunate throughout her career to work within some fantastic companies such as English Heritage where Joanna was a Weddings and Events Manager at some of the most beautiful venues in Kent including Dover, Deal and Walmer Castle. Joanna spent some time working within one of Canterbury’s 5-star hotels as an events manager organising Weddings, Conferences and Events gaining a wealth of experience along the way. Joanna then moved to Egypt where she met her husband and had the pleasure of organising her own wedding. This with her previous experience gave her the confidence to start her own business as a Wedding Planner in Sharm El Sheikh, allowing couples the idyllic setting and surroundings to enjoy their beautiful day with impeccable planning.
After three successful years in Egypt Joanna decided to return to England and joined Andersons Caterers in 2010 as an Event Manager where she really enjoyed her time ensuring all our clients had the day they dreamed of. In 2015 Joanna took a break to raise her two young sons and returned to Anderson’s caterers in 2020 as our Payroll and Office Administrator, where she works behind the scenes to take care of all our staff with her knowledge and experience which makes her an integral part of our office team.
In her spare time Joanna loves traveling, eating out and spending time with her family.
Abby
Hammond
Abby joined Scott Anderson as our Administrator in March 2015, you will find her busy in her office interviewing new staff, allocating our casual staff to events, liaising with the events team, paying invoices/wages and completing general admin duties. She works very closely with Caroline to ensure the smooth running of behind the scenes.
Abby is friendly, happy go lucky and enjoys raising her 3 sons and in her spare time should she have any, she spends it with friends and a glass or two of bubbly!

Throughout his career, Dave has developed a true passion for the hospitality industry. He prides himself on his professional manner, always striving to deliver excellent service and build lasting rapport with clients and guests.

Sammuel
Originally from Hampshire, Dave began his career in the hospitality industry while studying at University in Canterbury, working in bars to support his studies. Since then, he has gained extensive experience working in various restaurants, hotels, and pubs, ultimately achieving the role of Pub Manager. Over the years, Dave has honed his skills and expanded his knowledge, becoming a regional induction trainer, obtaining a Personal Licence, and earning prestigious accolades like the Cask Marque for excellence and quality, as well as achieving 5-star ratings on Scores on the doors for multiple venues he has managed.
Throughout his career, Dave has developed a true passion for the hospitality industry. He prides himself on his professional manner, always striving to deliver excellent service and build lasting rapport with clients and guests. His goal is to ensure every guest’s needs are not only met but exceeded, especially during special occasions such as wedding days.
Dave joined our team in June 2022 and quickly rose to the role of Bar Manager in April 2023 and then again to Beverage Operations Manager in August 2024. His years of experience in a variety of venues, combined with his calm and efficient demeanour, have made him an invaluable asset to the team. Dave’s unwavering work ethic and dedication to creating a welcoming and hospitable environment for both staff and guests are what truly set him apart.
In his spare time, Dave enjoys spending time with his young children and evenings with friends.
Kane
Mitford
Kane seamlessly integrated into our team in April 2023 as a Bar Supervisor. His hospitality journey began in a hotel during his GCSE studies, where he immersed himself in various roles, including waiting and bar services. Kane quickly recognised his passion for the industry, and he decided to pursue his career.
His tenure at P&O marked a significant chapter in his development. He adeptly handled customer enquiries at the information desk and orchestrated the operations of the onboard bar, showcasing his commitment to delivering exceptional service. At 23, driven by a desire for international exposure he relocated to Spain. There, he contributed his skills in diverse restaurants, gaining insights into distinct service styles - immersing himself in various cultures. His time in Spain also saw him managing a bustling bar hosting major events, curating innovative cocktails and elevating the bar's offerings.
Returning to the UK in 2023, Kane sought fresh challenges, finding them at Andersons Caterers. Initially joining as a supervisor, his dedication has earned him a promotion to our Bar Manager. Kane takes pride in contributing to the success of special occasions, ensuring that every guest's significant day is nothing short of extraordinary. Kane truly believes that an events success is in the smaller details, Kane’s passionate about taking care of every single guest as if they are his own family and friends.
In Kane’s spare time he enjoys spending time with family and friends, Kane’s favourite holiday destination is Las Vegas where he recently got married!

Rhiannon loves being a part of the Scott Anderson team and is hoping to expand her knowledge in the industry in the coming years. Rhiannon has a great rapport with all her colleagues and feels lucky to be part of such a friendly team.

Rhiannon joined the Scott Anderson team in August 2023 as Bar Supervisor. Rhiannon is very passionate about her role within our team and always goes above and beyond for our event holders. She believes it is important to make our event holders and their guests feel at ease as soon as they arrive to the venue, ensuring that all their needs are met.
Before joining our team, Rhiannon was the manager of a cocktail bar in her hometown of Faversham, where she gained a wealth of knowledge in the industry. Ever since Rhiannon can remember she has always dreamt of working within the wedding industry. She has now worked across several of our venues, including Winters Barns, Mount Ephraim, Leeds Castle and private marquees around the Southeast.
Rhiannon loves being a part of the Scott Anderson team and is hoping to expand her knowledge in the industry in the coming years. Rhiannon has a great rapport with all her colleagues and feels lucky to be part of such a friendly team.
Rhiannon spends her spare time keeping fit in the gym, going swimming and long walks. She loves to socialise with her friends and family.
Kamila
Ratajska
Kamila’s love for hospitality started at young age so she decided to study Hospitality Management in a Commercial school in Pozen (Poland), where she is originally from. After finishing this course, she completed a course in Health and Safety working in various restaurants to support her studies.
Following her education in Pozen, she moved to New York to work in children’s summer camps and travelled around the USA at every opportunity.
Upon moving to England, she gained employment as a supervisor in a restaurant and after this working as a team leader in the conference and events department in a large hotel. This was when she realised events was the path she should follow and applied to join Scott Anderson as Wedding and Events Coordinator. After one and half years of developing her skills and knowledge of industry she was promoted to the position of Event Manager. After moving to London in 2023, Kamila has continued her career in the events industry and has now become a Freelance Event Manager with Andersons Caterers.
Kamila always looks forward to meeting and talking to clients in person to build close relationships. Her approach is to always listen and develop ideas with them and to understand their plans and create their perfect event.
